Stephanie Wyler (28, Australia, registered name Stephanie), selected by GS Caltex women's professional volleyball team for the 2024-2025 season Asian quota, is a former beach volleyball player with only about 4 years of experience in indoor volleyball.

However, GS Caltex boldly chose Stephanie, who is 195 cm tall.

If Stephanie can turn her potential into skill in the V-League, GS Caltex's winning percentage can also increase.

Stephanie, who met with the joint reporting team in Japan on the 10th while GS Caltex was training, said, "I am growing every day."

Coach Lee Young-taek also expressed his expectations, saying, "Stephanie has really improved a lot. She is growing every day," and "This is probably the first time she has undergone such a large amount of formal training. She is following along well without complaint during the difficult training and absorbing what I am teaching her well."

Stephanie said, "This is my first time training this much. I think it's a great opportunity." She added, "I'm learning that I need to be consistent in my reception. I'm trying to deal with the low and fast serves in the V-League. Also, since the V-League is so good at defense, I'm learning from various angles how to score points."

Stephanie has a strong supporter by her side.

Gisele Silva (33), the top scorer in the 2023-2024 V-League and a foreign striker who has been through thick and thin in many leagues, is passing on his know-how to Stephanie.

Stephanie emphasized, "Silva is a very experienced player. He gives me a lot of great advice on the court. He tells me how to score points during rallies, how to improve my blocking position, etc. I try to learn a lot from Silva's advice."

Coach Lee Young-taek, a blocking expert, and Japanese coach Kiyoshi 토토 Abo, an expert in detailed tactics, are also people Stephanie relies on.

He welcomed the news, saying, "Both the coach and the manager are professional volleyball instructors. It is a great fortune to learn under them."

Last season, GS Caltex received little help from Asian quota players.

So, expectations for Stephanie are even higher.

Stephanie said, "I will do my best every moment and try to find opportunities to grow every day. If I do my best, eventually good things will happen during the season and I will be able to meet the fans' expectations." She added, "I know how precious the fans' support is, so I will devote myself to training and repay them with as many wins as possible."
